Based in Japan, POPOCHOLISU is a mixed-culture performance group that evolves freely, integrating borderlessly with various cultures in fluid and dynamic ways.
The group’s core members—Kaori Masukodera, Munenori Sawa, and 634 Mangalitsa —each bring over 20 years of experience in their fields as musicians, pro wrestlers, and performers. Their genre-defying stage shows combine music, performance, and acting, creating an engaging experience that seamlessly fits any event.

Founded in 2022, POPOCHOLISU began as a digital group centered around the themes of "Borderless, Genreless, and Freedom," sharing video content on social media. Their work quickly caught attention, like an unexpected phenomenon, leading to a growing number of offers for live events, pro wrestling shows, and musicals in 2023. Since then, they have shifted primarily to stage performances.

They perform original songs on stage, including " POPOCHOLISU Theme" and "Indo Mind"—a piece that celebrates the charms of India for Japanese audiences—making them highlights of their shows.In July 2024, they took on King of Conte 2024 to challenge themselves with further genre-blending. This August, they released " POPOCHOLISU Ondo" for Bon Odori on Apple Music and Spotify, along with a music video on YouTube. At Konnichiwa Japan 2024 in India New Delhi on November 23 and 24, POPOCHOLISU will deliver an innovative Neo-Japanese performance, blending traditional Japanese and modern culture with a touch of humor.
